Res Life Week Recap

So last week was crazy busy! Aside from the normal schedule of classes, homework, and activities, it was also Res Life Week, where there are events every night and each resident area competes against the others. The events were really fun to watch and participate in and they helped to unify (in some cases) the resident areas. Monday was the cardboard boat races, which was really amusing to watch, because a lot of people failed miserably. The second night was the "barnyard games" which I found to be the least interesting of the days. Wednesday was tug of war which, again, was really amusing. But my favorite night was Thursday (the last day) where there was a short film festival. All the different residential areas made a short film and they played them all at the festival, and some of them were really good, and others were really, really bad. Our video wasn't the greatest quality (it was really last minute), but it was still funny. My floor came in 9th overall (out of 20 teams) in Res Life Week. All in all, it proved to be a very interesting and entertaining week.
